For those who were or are pregnant and in school ... how long did you stay in school and go on "maternity leave" (for a lack of a better word ) and for those pregnant and in school now... when do you plan on going on maternity leave?
And how long of a break did you take?

I was due May 28th so I went to school a week up until my due date, and since it was at the end of the school year, I stayed home until school started again

With D'Andre I went to school up until exactly a week before my due date, then I had a home bound teacher for 5 weeks after.

With this baby, I won't need any maternity leave.. I graduate in May.

I was homeschooled already and then decided to go back. I was back in public school for 2 weeks and then just continued with homeschooling since I wasn't too far into it.
Hailey is due in March....so i'll stay out the rest of the school year and go back in September for senior year. She'll be 6 months by then...and she'll be enrolled in the daycare that I work at, so I won't be away from her too much.

Also- for my senior year I leave at 10:20 cause of work...so i'll be at school for 3 hours...then go to work and be with Hailey for the rest of the day until 6pm...and then go home.

I stayed until the last week of March... and I was 36 weeks pregnant when I left right before spring break. I was pregnant for nearly the entire school year... ugh it was hell.

I didn't go back for the rest of that school year, and just started back up again in August. And now I graduated.

I got really lucky actually, I had Drew during the summer in July of 02 so I didn't miss any school and Leah after graduation in December of 06.
