It's really nice and inspiring too see a forum dedicated to teens so that they have each other for support.. And there is so much maturity and respect here that it makes me feel a better person for expecting at a young age of 18..

Family and friends have been extremely supportive towards myself and my other half.. And it's even better too be able to come here and feel the same happiness..

I have been at many other baby forums, which are full of lovely people, but i've always found myself a little scared to mention my age and the truth is, i'm not ashamed... This angel of ours was planned and brought into this world and i don't see why i should put on a front to prevent a situation which may end up with me being looked down on..

Have any of you other young moms/to be had to deal with problems due to your age or situation at the time of pregnancy?

Welcome to JM and congrats! I'm Jennifer (22) SAHM to Tyler (1). I'm glad you found a forum that you enjoy and feel comfortable in. There is a pregnancy chat on tuesday at 9pm ET, if you'd like to join the other preggo women of JM and have some fun. I hope you enjoy it here.

Hi there, I'm Ashley. I had my son at 18, and a lot (and I mean a lot) of people weren't happy with me. But oh well - my son is very much loved and everyone now thinks he's the greatest thing that ever happened to our family.

((hugs))

Welcome to JM!

Hello and welcome! My name is Heather and I got pregnant at the age of 18 and had my son at 19- not everyone agreed with my decision, and I got a lot of rude comments and looks, but now Xaiver is 2 and loved like crazy and has more than any kid could want, and I couldn't ask for more. Don't pay attention to what other people say or think about you having a baby young. People will always critisize (spell?) They will talk about an 18 year old having a baby because she is too young, and they will talk about a 40 year old having a baby because she is too old- so don't worry about it!
-Heather
