Anyone attending?

I am going back to high school to get my HS diploma. I have to go in tomorrow to take a practice ACT. They use it as a placement test so if I score 14 and above I get the title of senior! Which in high school I scored a 27 on a practice one so I am not worried at all.

I am done highschool but I would like to get into some post secondary schooling. I havent decided what though! I always go back and forth with nursing. Sometimes I want to and sometimes I dont. I am not going to shell out the cash yet till I am decided!

I graduated HS in June and am taking this year off and might go to college or university next year or the year after.

I will be a senior this year in highschool! Then I will start college Fall 2008.

Before I was planning on going back to high school to finish and get my diploma.. but that could take me over a year if I don't score perfect on all my classes.. so I decided not to risk it and go ahead w/ my GED which only takes me 2 days.

After that (I think between like January 08-09) I'll go to community college. Not exactly sure what for yet, but I'm leaning towards Vet Assistance.

In highschool I went to a career and tech center and learned how to cut hair, do make up, massage, and nails. So in 12th grade I got my diploma and my cosmetology license LoL. I'm about to quit my career for some time and be a sahm so those skills will only be used at home on friends and family for a little while.

Ugh I wish. My hubby is in school now, and I work full time, I went to school last semester and it was just too much. So this year Im not going. Im a little mad about it actually. Its not fair that I have to be the bread winner lol. I suppose I just have to do what I have to do tho. When my husband graduates and gets a job, (fingers crossed Jan 09) we will be TTC our second and Ill be staying home. I cant WAIT!

I start my psychiatric nursing class next monday I did take my dosage exam yesterday though, and I got 100% lol The only thing that excites me about psych nursing is I don't have to dress like a lunch lady in my uniform HAHA I have to wear business attire. I have already made my wish lists online

Adam took a class over the summer, and this fall he wants to take 2 classes. I am really excited for him! He is registered for one and is going tonight to register for the other. He just needs to make sure he can take off of work on mondays so he can attend class. Fortunately though, his parents want to pay Adam the money he would be missing out on for not being at work on mondays. He is a maryland state inspector and a master lexus technician, and with mondays being near the end of the pay week *tuesdays* he would be missing out on a lot of work. Thank god for his parents!

i just finished HS in june im so proud of myself i wanted to drop out so many times. it took me 5 years to do it ..the extra year was from failing so many classes, my graduation is in october i was gonna go to college this year but im gonna wait till next year

this is so funny because the scrubs is one of the silly reasons I look forward to nursing! LMAO! So comfortable! I work in a corporate enviroment and I get so tired of business casual. Always have to wear shoes that hurt your feet lol

My class graduated in '05 I was going to college online for Graphic Design but decided to take a short hiatus to find a job and once I get a job, I'll sign back up for classes (my school is all year round lol). I need the money first since we live on our own now and I need money for school supplies anyways! But I really want to graduate asap so.. I have to go back before '09

The thing is...I don't wear scrubs lol I have to wear my school nursing uniform which is not only impossible to get on by myself *I need to wake up Adam every morning I put it on HAHA* but it is hideous lol White from head to toe, uncomfortable thin pants which are way too tight despite the starched drawstring, and a white top that buttons up in the back and you can't reach the buttons once you get it on haha Also, the buttons never stay buttoned so I am forever back flashing my patients

I can't wait until I graduate so I can wear the scrubs, too.

And just wanted to add...if you do go into nursing, don't bother getting nursing shoes. Stick with white tennis shoes, they are a million times more comfortable

I registered for fall classes but had to withdrawal from them when I realized that my classes start on Sep. 1st and the 10th and my baby is due Aug.26 (THIS SUNDAY WOO-HOO!!!) I would have had no time to adjust and bond. I will re-register for the winter semester. I should had taken summer classes so I could have had my fall semester off.... ######!!!

I'm finishing my last year of HS this year, then I think I'm taking a year off and working while I wait for Mike to finish college, then he'll get a job while I go to 4 years of University and then 4 years of law school. Wow, that seems like such a long time!

i graduated hs in may.. so thats it for now. im not quite positive on what i want to do.. i have always wanted to be a NICU nurse but now im not so sure.. im afraid that i only want to do it now because i have always wanted to. im also thinking about being an elementary teacher... idk yet... but for now im going to be a sahm until i go to college, probably in a year or two- then ill get my basics and see where i want to go from there.
