When did you take your child to their first dentist appt. ? I'm not sure when I should book one for Mikayla, she's just over 18 months and I read somewhere around a year they should have their first.. she's got a mouth full of teeth.

Yeah I have to bring Remy in too! It'd be perfect to bring Mikayla in now then if she has all her teeth. Can't hurt right? And same with the eye dr. Check her vision and all that

I actually asked my dentist and he said he wouldn't recommend it until about 3 because it's somewhat traumatizing. But I do have an appointment made for Owen in a couple of weeks. He loves to brush his teeth and stuff so I though Id give it a try.

I’m curious to know when you mommas took your children to there first dentist appointment. I’m not really sure when I started to go but it was at a really young age, should they go around 12 months old? Not sure when they should start going.

what if they have a pacifier or thumb sucking addiction should they go sooner i know usually the teeth can get messed up that way. Going to the dentist for me at a really young age was a life savor, for some reason going to the dentist wasnt really scary for me dont know if our son will be that way>_< oh my gosh I got all these concerns already and Isaac isn’t even born yet

Well, Mikayla is the opposite of Owen. Sometimes I need to hold her down to brush her teeth, its crazy. I try letting her do it and all these different ways and she's getting better but she HATES sitting still for longer then 2 seconds lol for anything besides food.

i dont know where i heard this but i heard sometime after they get their first teeth idk thats way early IMO i think between 2-3 is more the average age. But just ask the dentist when they usually like to see kids first lol takes the guess work out.

Becki, when I first started to brush Owen's teeth regularly he HATED it. But recently I bought this toothbrush and now he loves it.

I haven't brought him yet BUT I did make an appointment to meet with a dentist... It's in September though

Dan isaw her dentist back in June I think?? May?? I can't remember. But the kid wouldn't open her mouth or let the man near her

So the dentist said to wait at least 6 months. She brushes her teeth every morning and night, no paci, no bottles...so the dentist is in no rush

I'll have to pick her up one of those toothbrushes.. cause I'll try anything, its such a pain. She used to be really good, but now she hates it.

I'm sure Mikayla will be the same way as Dani was, she doesn't like strange people in her face lol.
