when i was in over night miscarrying..i had a mean nurse..but once she realized how serious my bleeding and my pain was she was a lot nicer she even called me sleeping beauty when she checked on me through out the night.....the doctor was pretty nice too.
I didn't even know the DR who delivered Mikayla. Mine was off sick w/ a broken arm, so they sent in the on call one.. she was nice, but I only saw her for maybe an hour. I had the nicest nurses EVER. After I had her, there was one student who came in everyday, she was amazingly nice, both me and Mikayla's daddy really liked her.. The others that I had were great too.. except there was one who was kinda snotty!
Now, when my sister had my nephew.. the nurses couldn't have been worse, it was crazy! They maybe came into check on her once a day, but it was hard to get anything, like blankets and medication... We all thought it was a little ridiculous.. especially where I had a totally different experience there.

I had midwives and the occasional nurse to help but mostly my midwives. They rocked! They did everything they could to support me and help me through it and were never once judgemental during the months I saw them. When it came time to do my c-section, the doctor and his team introduced himself and he was really nice and caring and had delivered my daughters cousin a year prior so I had faith and they were really nice! Nobody was ever mean!
