when do you put your gifts under the tree?

it varies but this year we haven't even decided when the tree is being put up and from the sounds it won't be till the 18th... for the tree so anytime after that possibly

The ones we have bought are already under there! And Kaitlyn is making holes in some of the worse wrapped ones by accident... kids toy boxes are so difficult to wrap.

Usually, right after I buy and wrap them. I usually buy presents mid December unless it's an item that I know is a hot commodity that year.

We do the same as Angie - not until Christmas eve night. Why, you ask? Because I was that kid who stealthily opened ALL of my packages whenever the parents weren't around and neatly wrapped them all back up so they wouldn't know. Those I couldn't neatly wrap back up I blamed on our cat. I had no surprises come Christmas. So I'm not giving the boys the chance. Besides, if I keep them hidden until then I can continue to tell them that if they don't behave then Santa or mommy & daddy may not bring them many presents. It's a great bargaining chip - for a few weeks, anyway...
