Hey Ladies.. I am doing your lessons learning how to do siggies and I am on Lesson 5 step 2 trying to figure out how to load the brushes that I download..My DH had this stupid program called WinRar on our computer and everytime I download the brushes it saves in that program then when I try to extract them to a new folder and look the new folder up with photoshop to load the brushes they aren't there.. Can you maybe give me some advice or see if there is an easier way to get the brushes downloaded?
Thanks Lindsey

When you extract with WinRar, make sure you make a note of where the program is extracting too. It usually defaults to the same location as the rar file, but that's not always the case. Be sure you make a note of it and then browse to that location when you click on load brushes in Photoshop. I can get screen shots if you need them.

If you could get me a screen shot that would be wonderful.. I know we extract them to a new folder but when I open the new folder they aren't in there. I read something in another post that you have to unzip them. Could that be the problem and if so how do you do that?

If you are downloading the brushes from KissMyPixels, they wont work in CS3. I was having the same problem! I would download and unzip and everything, but it would say my folder was empty. Try downloading some brushes from here...

Hope that helps!!

Oh, just wanted to add. When you extract something from a zipped file, that is unzipping it.

Well I guess that's the problem then. Unzipping and extracting are the same thing. I would check the website that Kasie posted.
