I just got photoshop today and now can't stop trying to create things!

This is my first attempt. All suggestions etc are welcome!

Hey Alison,

It's a great start! Although, I think your pictures are not resized proportionately - Bri's face looks very stretched out on the right photo. Best way to resize in PS that I know is this: Edit > Free Transform. Then, click on the little 'clip' button next to the H and that will ensure you're resizing proportionately.

Also, make sure your siggies are under 600x600 pixels or they won't fit and will be cut off. Best sizes are about 350 x 300 so you can also fit tickers and blinkies underneath. Also, you might want to cut out all the extra white space around the siggy so it doesn't take extra room: Click on the Crop Tool in the tool menu and highlight the siggy you want to appear, and it will crop all the white space.

i never knew about this 'clip' button, i shall have to have a play with that later

I didnt' know this! I've always been saving it and then puting it into paint and getting rid of the white. thanks for saving me some time!
