ok type out your text then rasterize that layer and duplicate 3 times then go to add noise and I usually start between 15-17 then go to your next layer and up the noise 1 or 2 and so on then to animate make 3 frames and 1 layer visible for each frame. Make sense?

It doesn't work. I've tried doing this now several times, too, and although when I add the noise the text comes out looking sort of "glittery," the animation seems to do absolutely nothing. I can watch it playing as a GIF, but to the naked eye it doesn't even look like the frames are changing at all. Does that mean that I didn't add enough noise? Or that the difference in noise levels between the different frames isn't big enough? Any tips, anyone?
