ok so i finally got photoshop elements 7 i am a first time user and have no idea what i am doing , so help would help, but i see that everyone has all this neat artwork on their pictures, mine only came with a few, so my question is where do you get more artwork at? are they plug ins? thanks in advance

what sort of artwork are you talking about? there are all sorts of things we use like scrapkits and brushes and such. give me an example of what you are looking for and i'll try to tell you what it is.

i dont even know, lol, i guess like some winter stuff, backgrounds, i have a boy so maybe some boy things, ribbons, etc. any thing really. thankya

nope i cant figure out how to save it, do i save it on my photoshop or just my computer, i tried to download some of them but it didnt work. i am so terrible at figuring stuff out!

Did you unzip the files you downloaded?

You save it to photoshop to save the layers. Then save it to jpeg, when you are finished. So you will have the same thing saved two ways. One in photoshop so you can make changes, then one in jpeg. Jpeg is the one you are going to upload on photobucket or whatever.

when you download what you want save it wherever you want this stuff. then you need to unzip/extract the file.

when you finish a siggy go to save for web> select jpeg> then adjust the quality until you get your siggy size under 150kb (shows underneath the preview)
