I had to erase my harddrive and re-install everything all over again, b/c I somehow picked up a bunch of pop-ups.

Anyway, DH re-installed PS 7, and two things happened that were really weird.

1. I couldn't rotate an image. When I the pointer tool selected (the one next to the dotted box), it would turn into a rainbow-shaped thing instead of a pointer, and I could manually rotate the image left or right or whatever. Now it won't change into the rotator thing, just stays a pointer.

2. When I used the picture curl action, I had three seperate pictures open (not in the same document). I clicked on the one I wanted to curl, and it did it, but it replaced one of the OTHER pictures I *hadn't* selected with the newly curled one, so I had one of the other pictures I didn't select, one curled picture, and one uncurled picture that was the same as the curled one. I hope that makes sense.

This is very frustrating. lol

Never heard of the first one, but the action thing happens to me all the time. When I run an action, I make sure only one image is open.

As Rachel said, with the BB action, you should only have one photo open.

I'm not sure about the other thing, but the first thing that I would suggest is to clear your preferences file.

Hold down the Alt + Ctrl + Shift keys as you click on the icon to open Photoshop. When asked if you want to delete the settings file, say yes.

The only other thing I would suggest after that is to go into Add/Remove Programs, choose Photoshop, and see if it has a Repair option - if it does, repair the install. If it doesn't, remove and reinstall.

Good luck!

Thanks, I'll try that! I had a feeling I'd have to reinstall it anyway lol That thing with the action never happened to me before! I always have at least 3 images open when I do it!

Yep, that's the pattern with me. I didn't realize it was a problem till I lost a siggy that I was working on and hadn't saved yet.
