Okay here is how I am making my siggies look like an image map. I am just cutting my siggy into pieces so I can link each piece.

I just use the ruler and guides to select each section.

Go to View>>Rulers

Then to make a guide you just use the move tool and drag the horizontal or vertical ruler over. It took me a while to figure out there were guides and how to use them. I kind of stumbled upon them accidently. Then you just use the rectangular marque to select each section. I just hit copy merged and open a new document, it will automatically be sized the right size and paste. I save each section. You will need the siggy to be cut length wise or width wise because you can't use tables with bulletin board code. Then stack your images together (either side by side or up and down).

Very easy and I think it looks kind of cool.

I just used the rounded rectangle shape in your custom shapes that come with PS. You can do this more than one way but this is how I do it normally. Then if I want to crop the edges on a photo to be rounded, I go to the layer that the shape is on. Use the magic wand tool to select the outside of the shape. Go back to my layer palette and select the photo and hit delete. I hope that made sense. I don't have time to do screen shots right now but I think you can figure it out if you play around with it.

That's the same way I do it.

Brandi, you would do it the same way that you would cut out a photo into a shape.

I'm sure you could. It's just a matter of cutting up a finished siggy. Maybe you could do a new thread so Teresa or Patty can see it.

I think she has it cut into more than 2 pieces. I am not sure. For each link you need an image. I have gotten fed up with cutting up my siggies. LOL. It is a pain in the butt. It looks cute but it has been aggrivating me too much.

If you are using the rich text editor you can highlight it with your mouse and then insert the link. Or you can toggle to the standard editor and use the linking code. Here it is
[code]<div align='center'><a href="http://www.justmommies.com/boards/index.php?showforum=191" target="_blank"> </div><div align="center">
</a><a href="http://www.justmommies.com/boards/index.php?showforum=191" target="_blank"></div><div align="center">
