Saving for Web in Photoshop

Once you have completed your siggy and saved it as a PSD file (you'll need to do that if you might need to edit it later), click on File>Save for Web as shown here.



A screen will pop up (shown below). There are several ways to save the siggy. A non-animated siggy should be saved as a JPEG. You'll see that I've already selected that option. Also notice that I have selected to optimize the file (make sure that there is a check mark in that box). Also notice that the Quality has a slider. If you move the slider back and forth, you'll change the numbers at the bottom left (where I have circled) changes. The higher the quality is set, the larger the file size. You just want to move the slider till the number at the bottom left is under 150K.
