When I was using PSP, I used glitter fills to make animated glitter. The only way I know how to do it in PS is using noise.

Can someone tell me how to do it the 'fill' way in PS? I think it makes for a better glitter! I assume it will be a pattern overlay, but in PSP I used to rotate the pattern to make it animated and I don't know how to do that in PS.

Or, if it's already been explained, would you mind pointing me in the direction of the tutorial?

Thanks in advance

You know, I've never tried using a glitter fill in PS. I'll do some searching and see if I can find a tutorial on how to do it. I've always just added noise myself.

I'm not sure if there is an easier way to do it, but this worked for me. I opened the glitter fill in ImageReady and defined a pattern for each layer. I duplicated the text to make the number of layers as the number of patterns. I then did a pattern overlay for each layer and then animated. I hope this makes sense.
