I just tried to make a siggy with my photoshop. Everything was going good until I wanted to add text. I chose what color I wanted but it won't work. This happened to me the other day and I just thought it was because of the picture I chose. The only color it will let me choose is white and if I choose anything else it goes right to gray! Why is it doing this?!? Can someone please help me out. I was in the middle of making something for someone and now I can't.

Look up top where it says image. See what image mode it is set at. It's probably set in grayscale or index color. Make sure it is set to RGB. I don't have PS open so I might not have that exactly right. If that's not it, let me know.
