Hi ladies! This is my first post here, but I have read all of the siggy tutorials, and learned a ton from them! I wanted to thank you for putting them together.

I have been making siggies, and now I am learning how to make animated names. I am using PS CS3 Extended. I added a stroke around my text, and a drop shadow, but when i duplicate the layer to delete some of the writing, it makes the drop shadow darker around the remaining text. is there a way to keep the drop shadow the same on all of the layers?

I hope this makes sense!

I dont know if there is a way without removing it from your duplicated layers. That is what makes it so dark because you are duplicating. Maybe take the stroke and drop shadow off of those layers.
Maybe somebody who has been doing it longer can tell you but I havent figured it out yet.
