I saw a post on how to do transparent text but I have seen some text with color and what looks like an emboss that is a bit transparent. Can someone please assist me on how to do that? Thanks in advance.

Can you post an example on what you are talking about. I have a couple ideas, but just want to be sure we are talking about the same thing.

These are some examples of what I mean. The text is transparent but not completely transparent...the text has color but it does not appear to be an opacity adjustment.

Those look like they were done with a plug in, but I did write a tutorial for glass text for Photoshop. Let me find the link for you and if you have questions after that, we'll be happy to help.

Here's the link.

Thank you for the link. It worked...I just lowered the opacity of the layer when I was finished and it was exactly how I wanted it. Thanks.

I got the same effect by doing the see thru text then just adding color instead of white font.

Atleast I think it's the same?
