ok so i figured out how to do the animated handwritten text using gimp but now i cant figure out how to add the object that writing it.... every time i try to add it it stays and i have a bunch of lil ladybugs all over my text... please help someone

You'll need to add a background to each layer, so that only one ladybug is visible at all times. If the layers are transparent then all the bugs will show through.

ohhhh ok i get it now... i was trying to make the background transparent... thanks a bunch
