Resizing images without distortion

For the girls using PSP, I thought this would help. Seen some complaints about how PSP distorts photos when you scale them down in PSP. Ok, the best way to work around this is to resize the image as close as you can get to the size you want using resize and NOT use the pick tool to resize. The pick tool seems to add quite a bit of jagged edges when you resize things with it.

Also when you resize make sure that the smart size is selected. You can resize just the layer or the whole image. If you want to resize just the layer make sure you are on the layer you want resized and then remove the check box next to resize all layers.

Rotating images without blurring

Ok, if you haven't noticed PSP tends to blur images when you rotate them. If you sharpen your image after you rotate it this will help with the blurriness. To sharpen your image. Make sure you are on the layer you want sharpened and go to Adjust > Sharpness > Sharpen
