Well girls, my RE visit yesterday went well. I am taking a progesterone suppository "just in case". My RE said there are no gurantees, but since your risk of miscarriage doesn't go up after just one, she said this one will probably be fine.

I got my beta done and it was 99! That's a nice strong number for only being 12 dpo. In fact, according to this website www.betabase.info, I'm in the top 17% of hcg levels at 12 dpo for a singleton pregnancy! The average level is 36 for 12 dpo. I will not be getting a repeat level drawn because I think it will only stress me out to worry about if it's doubling fast enough. I'd rather just assume all is well. I am trying to stay positive and just be happy and not worry too much.

She said I should schedule an ultrasound at 6 weeks and we should see the heartbeat. I'm afraid of getting it done too early so I made it for when I'll be 6 weeks, 5 days. Sept 11.

Oh and my RE did say it was *possible* but not likely that I ovulated 2 eggs instead of just one. I really think it's just one though. Oh and she put my due date as April 30! I don't know what's up with that because everything I've plugged in online is May 1st or 2nd. Well, anyway, I am going with May 1st. I like the idea of being the first instead of the last, plus the thought of being due in April makes me a little sad.

Telling Dh's family was fun. They were excited. And I think Dh is getting more excited too, he was talking about how he needs to call his best friend and tell him.

I made my inlaws take a pic of us. Now we have a pic of us as a couple the day we found out I'm pregnant. Awww!

I felt sick this morning! Not like I was going to throw up but definitely naseous. I went and bought peppermints and ginger candy at the grocery store in case it gets worse. I will take morning sickness any day because then I feel like little sweet pea is doing okay.

Here's my 4 week belly pic. Flat so far!

YAYAYYA for the beta counts and I think you scheduled the U/S wisely-- long enough but not too far to wait

I know exactly what you mean about getting symptoms. The more you get, the more it means you are still pregnant. Knowing you are still pregnant is enough to put up with anything

Oh Shannon, you are just glowing in the picture! Glad the #s were great, and personally, I'd just go w/ whatever due date you feel is most accurate. Last time I came up w/ 9/21 but the dr. I was seeing at the time insisted on using LMP and went w/ 9/16, even though I was measuring smaller (I think I was measuring according to my date). So when I had my 40 week appointment w/ no sign of a baby, I was pretty annoyed. Yet, I went into labor from 9/19 and delivered on the 20th so I think I was right!
