How exciting, I've just ordered the first "big" item for baby!!

Here's pics of it in the pram mode:

buggy mode:

and the car seat:

This is the wrong colour but you can see the car seat on the chassis at least:

It comes with the footmuff, pram insert, rain cover and changing bag! It makes it so much more real that I've ordered the first biggie!!!

I'm really pleased I stuck with this model, as I'd read a few poor reviews online about it. So a few wks ago I went into the shop and had a good play with it And it seems absolutely great. So I'm glad I did that, I love this system and with us having a small car, it folds down really compact!

I love the travel systems! They are awesome and that looks very nice! Ugh carseats..We gotta get a new one. I'm looking at another Britax in the sum of 279.00 After the first one....the rest make you cry for a whole new reason LOL! His last....a roundabout was 199.99! I thought we;d have another by now so I justified by saying it would justbe 100 per child LOL.

Congrats on your first big purchase! Now do what the rest of us did and put a babydoll in it and drive it around your house! Ok, maybe I'm the only one who did that!

I love it! It looks expensive

I already got mine too but it's just a regular old Graco one, still cute though!

It's one of the cheapest systems over here but SilverCross is a BIG make here, so I'm really pleased with the value of it. There's a mamas & paps one which is virtually the same but more expensive and it was wobbly and flimsy looking. I'm really pleased even though I don't have it home yet. The shop are storing it until we get baby's room done... I'm trying to get DH in the mood for tackling it

p.s. it looks expensive but it's so not! It should have been £390 all in ($s are approx double our £s so approx $780 ish?), but they have discontinued this colour set and we got it for £310 (approx $620 ish?).

I was lucky as this is the colours I'd had my heart set on so my timing was good. I just hope we don't get an ex-display model, I didn't think to ask when I ordered it. They can't sell something that's broken though - I know from my 2 visits to the shop, the amount of people who go in to test and play with all the prams, I'd hate to end up with a scratched model or something... perhaps I'm too picky, but if you are led to believe you are buying something which is brand new, that's what you expect? She didn't say it was ex-display, I'd have thought she'd have had to tell me when I paid?

Yeah, to us Americans that's pretty expensive for a travel system! Glad you got a deal, though. It's really nice. I really want to pick up a few things (nothing big, just maybe some breastfeeding stuff to start w/), but I feel like maybe I should wait till the end of my 1st tri. And if I find out I'm having a boy, watch out 'cause I'll have to splurge on clothes. I love baby shopping!

Yeah...that's expensive to me too! My travel system cost $240 and thankfully Jeremy's parents paid for it because it was the most expensive thing on my registry besides the breast pump.

I'd looked at graco ones but we needed an umbrella folding one as we have a small car. Britax do a nice one similar to that graco but it's just not small enough for our little broom broom!

You're a strong lady!!! I didn't find out with Edward and looking back, I don't know how I did it. I had to know with Preston, but I'm thinking of not finding out with the next baby! We'll see!

Not strong as such, I am 50/50 on finding out/not finding out. But to find out we have to pay for a private scan which is expensive. We have a lot to buy yet so I'd rather use the money wisely! I think the excitement of me/DH checking baby's bits at the birth is as good as finding out though!
