So, here I am, sitting at my computer writing this, when I was supposed to be at work about 10 minutes ago! We have 2 cars sitting in our drive way right now, and they are both DEAD! Chris' car has been in the shop a couple times within the past 2 months, and when we get it back, it keeps doing the same thing! The fuses keep blowing and the car dies every time you turn the wheel! And then there is my car that is a 94 corolla. It's actually a really good car, but the battery cable connectors are really old and corroded, and the battery is old too. It won't start! So, we're pretty much stranded until Chris' dad gets home from work. When he gets home, they are gonna take me to work, then go get a new battery and cables to hopefully fix my car. Chris' car has to be taken back to the shop for the 3rd time on Monday! Ugh!

Oh, that is super frustrating! I'm very sorry for you. I remember the time DH left the map light on in my car. Of course, his car was at the shop the same time. I had to call my Dad for a jump and was sooooo embarrassed!

Gahhhh! How frustrating, but think of it this way, you get an extra wee while at home before work! I hope they wont take it off your pay?

That stinks! I hate car problems!

Back in February, both of our cars died at the same time. And I mean died, would not work at all. We had to buy two new cars (well, one new and one used).

I hope the new battery does the trick for your car.

I hate car problems!!! I hope Chris' Dad gets there soon.

My car is at the mechanic right now. I'm waiting on a part and the dealers didnt have it so I ordered it online and am waiting for it to get here. It sucks even though we still have 1 good working car. I just hate being dependent on others to get around and our public transportation pretty much sucks!

Well, I finally got to work at almost 4:00, 2 and a half hours late! lol So that means my check will be a little shorter than what I had planned next week when we get paid. And when Chris picked me up, he told me that they didn't go get the battery for my car yet, so we have to do it in the morning before I have to get ready for work and hope that is the problem! MEN! Can't depend on them to do anything!
