I just woke up from a horrible nightmare. It was Monday morning and I woke up go to the bathroom and I was bleeding. Like period bleeding. I cried and imagined all my hopes just shattered in pieces. Finally, I woke up.

I am so freaked out. Last time I had a dream, it came true, I was pregnant.

This time?!

I took another hpt just to make sure the line is getting darker, and it is. Almost as dark as the control line this time.

I was doing okay before but now I am scared out of my mind.

I don't think it's the same as when you had the dream you were pg. You are worried for this pregnancy... for obvious reasons. Your subconscious knows this, and that's why you're dreaming about it. I am sure it was completely terrifying... and a total nightmare.... but I don't think it's any kind of "sign."

I had dreams of giving birth to dead babies for the first couple weeks i was pregnant (it was after a saw a picture of one in someone's siggy) and it freaked me out a TON. I was crying when I woke up and i didn't want to sleep because I didn't want to dream it. I asked in my DDC and it seems to be normal for women to have these stupid type dreams. Mine I have just started getting better (8weeks along!) . I hope yours go away quickly!

Your going to be okay. I think it's normal to have those kind of dreams. I have had a few dreams this pregnancy about giving birth to a stillborn or something be wrong with my baby. I think it's just the fear that we all have as mothers.

Yeah it just is horrible how it feels so REAL. It's good to know I'm not alone in this though.

I wish I would start feeling sick again so I'd feel like it's all okay.

My Dh makes me laugh though...I told him about my dream and he said "well at least you didn't dream about swimming in a radioactive river". Um...***?! LOL! I can understand where my dream came from. His?! No idea.

Sorry you had a nightmare. Sometimes dreams/nightmares are just so vivid & you can't shake them. When I was pregnant w/ Abby, I had a dream that my grandpa came to my mom's house (mind you, he had passed the year before) & I was able to tell him I was pregnant & hug him again. I was BAWLING when I woke up because in the dream I knew he wasn't going to be there.

I think given the circumstances, it's like what Shannon was saying. Your subconscious is playing out its worries.

M/S vibes your way! I'm kinda tired of mine; you can have it!

Oh hin, I'm sorry you had such an awful dream. I think it's normal to have these horrid dreams sometimes. We're so anxious and scared that our thoughts and subconscious seem to manifest itself in this way.

I've dreamt on a couple occasions how I had my baby and forgot and didn't feed the baby for a whole day. It scared me crazy but since I've been pregnant, I've had the weirdest dreams ever so I've come to the conclusion that nightmares are a symptom of pregnancy.

And your hubby is hilarious!! Maybe HE had the dream about swimming in a radioactive river.

Oh yeah, he did, that's why he said that! Haha. I asked him about his dream but he just said "it's a long story"

Um..okay?

Just yesterday I had a dream where I went to the bathroom, wiped and found red blood. I heard that vivid dreams are common in pregnancy.....we are going through so many emotions right now....elation, anxiety, all of it......I think that it's fairly common, but I do hope that you won't have anymore

(((((HUGS)))))) I had HORRIBLE dreams when I was pregnant with DD. Right before my first u/s at 16 weeks I had a dream that I went to my appt, they couldn't find the heartbeat, and thru u/s I found out she had died the day before, and I had to tell everyone she had died. It felt so real, it was so scary. I ended up throwing up on the way to the u/s because I was so nervous, but she was fine, and is now a 4 year old with an attitude, lol. But I know how dreams can effect you, especially when you're already scared. But I have a good feeling for you with this pregnancy.
