Depends. Usually I just roll over and go to sleep haha night time sex. During the day I just go to the washroom afterwards and then on with my day. I didn't worry to much about all that when we were ttc.
Some websites and some persons suggest propping a pillow under your butt for about 15 minutes or more to keep the sperm inside longer. I have also read success stories about this too but I can't if it works or not. I usually wipe and lay down for a bit, if I get up at all and that's usually because I feel so relaxed and lazy afterwards.

I always thought that would be the downfall of Nic and I conceiving, I just could NOT stay in bed more than 5 minutes worth of cuddling. And lo and behold, here we are.
Sperm comes out at like 20 mph so they are shot up there right away! If you wanna help the sluggish swimmers go on up, a pillow is recommended for 15-30 minutes :-)
My RE said after my transfer, i have to lay down for 45 minutes. Oy.. gonna be the most boring 45 minutes EVER. (But so worth it!)

Good to here that laying down is not necessary!! I didn't know I was O'ing until last night so I have been getting up after a couple of minutes, tonight though I may lay down for half an hour or so!! Sam make sure you have a good magazine, cause that will probably be the longest 45 mins of your life!!
I used to read a book while waiting...and once I fell asleep 'cause I was so tired! I hear it's helpful if your SO/DH has a low sperm count but otherwise usually it won't make much of a difference.
I didn't lay with a pillow under my butt- but I did stay in bed for about 20 mins and cuddled. I was so tired and relaxed I think DH and I fell asleep for a bit too.
I rolled over and went to bed.
FYI-if you have a tilted uterus you want to lay on your belly instead of your back. And the pillow thing is really only recommended if DH swimmers need help other wise your just good to go.
