Today started off with my NST. The baby moved and all that good stuff, but the resting heart rate was in the 110s. The nurse was a little concerned, but the doctor said to send me over to the clinic where I'd be seen by a nurse for my normal visit. The nurse at the clinic also got a heart rate that was in the low 120s and down into the 110s. The doctor said that it sounds normal for being 36 weeks that the heart rate should be between 110 and 160. The main concern that the nurses were having is that the heart rate up until now has been in the 150s or 140s.
During my NST the nurse also informed me that I was having contractions. I was surprised and she said that they were likely to be BH since I had no clue they were happening. LOL.
We were given the option to go back in tomorrow and have some kind of further testing done to check on the baby (the amnio levels, etc), but declined since everything else seems to be fine. I am having lots of movement throughout the day, even during the NST and visit with the nurse.
I am scheduled to have an u/s next Tuesday due to the GD anyway, so we'll just monitor everything from home until then.
On the good side...I have Baby Benz's and my bags packed and DH installed the car seat, so we're good to go on those fronts.
