So my E2 level this morning was 162. They are supposed to be under 100 and ideally, under 50. FSH was normal though at 6.4 (and my thyroid is through the roof at 7.89 -- i am being sent for a full thyroid panel)

The main suspicion is my ovarian cyst is causing my high E2 level. Usually the solution is BCPs, But BCPs don't quiet my ovaries down, so i have no idea what this is going to do to our cycle. I emailed my doctor and asked him what he thinks. I am concerned our cycle is going to get canceled or something before it even starts.

*sigh*

Just when everything was going well......

I'm so sorry. You might get more info on the TTCMA board, but isn't there something else they can give to quiet your ovaries? Lupron I think?

Doc says Its most likely the cyst causing the high E2 and Thyroid levels. Hes going to look at my left ovary again next wednesday during my water sono. He doesnt feel that there is any real need for concern.

Of course, I am still concerned. Words like "diminished ovarian reserves" at 25 does not make me feel good.

*crosses fingers* 8 days till i have more of an answer!

I'm sorry you have to worry about this, but I'm glad your doc doesn't seem to be too concerned- that's a good sign!

Keep us posted!

Send a message via AIM to niknok
I'll tell you like I tell my husband when he's upset about something- "Cheer up buttercup!"
I hope this all works out soon!
