No more plug that I have seen, but I've been pretty crampy. It started yesterday, they felt just like period cramps, but didn't really feel like contractions (my uterus didn't get hard). Twice, I had to close my eyes and just chill for a few seconds because they kind of hurt. Then, since about 8pm last night, I've been getting quite a few more contractions than usual, along with the period like pain, but they aren't all that regular and not close enough together to really count them. I would say they come ever 10 mins or so? They don't really hurt either, so I think they are just BH.
I did a lot of walking yesterday, so maybe thats why

Ooooh it's gonna be soon! When I was in early labor it just felt like period cramps, nothing more than that.
Yay I'm so excited

One way you can tell real contractions from BH is when you get them, get in a bath. I once had BH all day long, every 10 minutes, while I was at work, and I thought they were contractions. When I got home I jumped in a warm bath, and they went away pretty quickly. When they say you will KNOW when they're real, you will KNOW. There was no mistaking the real, labor is here, contractions!

I dunno about that. Everyone is different. For me, I went to the hospital for my induction and found out I was 5 cm and in full-blown labor. I hope Bre has an easy one!

Yeah, I *think* I will know when the contractions are "real" because the ones I get now, they just feel like my whole uterus is tight, and they are only uncomfortable when I try to move while I'm having one. As long as I hold still, it's not really painful.
All in all though, these last 24 hours have felt a bit different, so hopefully my body is gearing up. Hopefully he will come right around his due date and not too much later
I went to Target today and drove past my hospital, and I got butterflies in my tummy thinking that I am going to be GIVING BIRTH so soon! I can't wait!

I can't believe that you have only 6 days to go!! I'm a little scared for you to have Reid because that means I'm coming up right after you! I can't wait to read your birth story and I'm so hoping you can do it natural. That way I can look up to you when it's my turn. I have two weeks left!!

^ I hope I can do it natural too. I'm feeling fairly confident because I'm not scared AT ALL. Short of anything going wrong, having horrible back labor, etc, I have a lot of faith in myself. Everyone who is going to be there knows how badly I want a natural birth, so I'm hoping that I get the encouragement that I need.

I feel really calm about it all but at the same time I have some fears. I KNOW that I can do it and I have a good feeling that I will be able to. My mom and Damon will be there to encourage me and they stand by me for a natural labor 100%. I think we both will get to have our natural drug free births. But I still have a little fear about the whole process. I guess it's because it's something I will be doing for the first time in my life!

That's better than I was doing, LOL. I was not scared of labor so much, but SCARED to DEATH of the delivery part, pushing out a big baby. The whole, ring of fire, part scared me. It ended up not being half as bad as I imagined, but I remember being in the hospital like, OMG, there is going to be a BABY coming out of me today! The reality hit a lot more once I was there and it was happening. I think you're gonna do great!!
