Have you tried a warm bath to help relax them?

Awe Angela I'm sorry you are uncomfortable, well in pain hehe. Try a nice warm bath, drink lots of water and see if that helps. Are you timing them?

I have taken a shower and it helped a lot!!! They seem to be coming every 5-10 mins for the past 3 hours.
They don't hurt as bad now as they did before, but still hurt enough to keep me from sleeping!

I feel horrible! I finally was able to fall asleep but I had to be sitting up, and I kept waking up with more contractions. I feel like I spent the whole day at the gym working out my abs. My sides and bottom of my bump are super sore and I have a lot of this horrible painful pressure on my girly parts! The contractions have slowed down to about once every 30 mins to an hour but they are getting more and more painful! I just want to lay down so bad, but my sides hurt too bad. I want my mommy !!

{{{HUGGLES}}} Are the showers giving you any relief still? Are you drink lots of water? I would call your doctor and have them check you just in case--you sound like this could be some pre-term labor hun.

Angela, if you are still contracting fairly regularly, you may just want to go into L&D to get checked out.

Definitely keep yourself hydrated, the more dehydrated you are the more painful the contractions will be. Hopefully your doctor calls back soon but if he/she doesn't and the contractions feel like they are picking up in intensity again, I would say go in anyways to be checked out.
Keep us posted!

I hope you were able to go back to sleep and get some rest. I've had a couple of nights of fitful sleep because of contractions, but not quite as intense as you describe. Keep us posted!

Have you heard back? Are you still having them? If the answer is NO then Yes. I would say its time to head to the hospital.
