So I am at 16 dpo (even though I really think it is 17dpo). No AF yet. I started POAS almost a week ago, and got a faint line. The link to that post is below. I tested with a clearblue regular Monday = BFFN. Tested this morning with a clearblue digital = BFFN. I am SICK of this! I can’t be getting my O date wrong because ovulation was triggered for crying out loud. So now I am worried something crazy is going on, like my insides are slashed or something. I am seeing Freddie Kruger in my dreams coming at me with an ultrasound wand!

Someone give me a plausible explanation PLEASE. I called my doc but he is doing HSGs all day, so I won’t hear back from him until tomorrow. My LP is never over 14 days so my patience is gone and I am on the edge.

Michelle, that's so awesome that you posted, I didn't realize that you were posting again!!!! Welcome back But I understand how frustrating this month has been for you........having no answers is a horrible feeling, I know that you would like to know whether or not you are pregnant one way or the other. What I can't believe is why your doctor hasn't given you an HCG blood test? I mean seriously, he should have given you an HCG blood test by now! By looking at your chart, it looks like you definately ovulated when you expected because of the definite temperature shift....I know that TCOYF states that 18 days of elevated temperatures means you are pregnant, so you might have to wait 2 more days to see what happens. There is a chance that you are pregnant, the question is whether you have a chemical pregnancy. I really hope that it isn't a chemical pregnancy But there are also women who don't get their BFPs until a week after their AF is due (a significant number of women). But in the end, only a blood test can give you a definite answer. I'm so sorry that you are going through this uncertainty now, but thank you for sharing and I look forward to receiving updates.

Thanks for responding Jen

I just called today to let my doctor know what is going on, and he won't get in until tomorrow. So I think tomorrow he will order a blood test. Usually I don't get a blood test, AF just comes. I am really irritated with all of this. Why does my body insist on actign all wrong! I don't even think I am pregnant, I am just starting to worry because this is strange for me.

If I get positive tests with a trigger shot, shouldn't I get positive tests almost right away with a real pregnancy too?

I hate to tell you, but this happened with a chemical pregnancy I had in 2002. I got a BFN at 14dpo, so I waited, and waited for AF. At 18dpo I FINALLY tested again, after 18 days of high temps, afterall! Lo and behold, I got a BFP, but it was really skinny and light on an EPT. The next day, another BFP with FRER, but not darker, and by the next day I was getting BFN's, and finally started bleeding at 26dpo.

I HOPE that is not the case, but it sounds similar. I have also heard of women getting BFN's until 18dpo, so you never know. Let us know what happens with the blood test results!

ACK what is up with that chart?! I DO see a faint line on that test but it was after the trigger right? Hopefully after some bloodwork, the doc and figure out what is wrong. I'm sorry you have to worry

Hey Michelle!! I totally missed that other post! How did I manage to do that??!

I have no answers for you, unfortunately, since I have never gotten a BFP. But I did want to say HEY! I'm glad to see you're back! I really hope you can get into the doc soon. I'm sorry you have to sit on pins and needles... docs just don't seem to understand the urgency sometimes!

And I wanted to add some hello hugs! We missed you!

I saw faint lines on all of the first tests. Not sure if the blue dye one is an evap or not. I hope your doc has some answers for you tomorrow.

LOL, well no bacon bits in there this cycle. But at least AF came. I should be able to get in an IUI this cycle on Sunday now which is cool. We weren't doing any more IUIs for a while unless it fell on a weekend.

Thanks girlies

Oh yeah and the test, was an evap. On a FRER. That showed up right away. Only I get those tests! LOL

Seriously. At least I knew it was an evap, because contrary to what some say FRER is falliable! I didn't even take it apart. But at least with FRER, evaps are easy to tell (for me).

I talked to my doc. Starting a new post about that.
