Well, today was my big anatomy scan, and everything went perfect! I was so nervous about all the possible congenital issues, b/c I put kids with them to sleep everyday at work. Sometimes knowing too much about what can go wrong is just not good. So, despite all my fears, my little man is just perfect! I am so relieved. He is still a boy, no doubt about it. I have some great pics, but of course my scanner is acting up again. And I just don't have time to deal with it tonight. I promise to post them all in three weeks when we get back.

We leave for Europe in the morning, and my midwife gave me my official travel clearance. As well as rx's for phenergan and macrobid....plus my medical records. I think I'm all set, and I'm so excited. I've been planning the Europe trip and Mediterranean cruise for months, and just can't believe it's finally here.

I think my list of questions today went to 17, and most of the answers were just what I wanted. I really think my midwives are going to give me an awesome shot at NCB. They are so encouraging.

Best of luck to all you ladies giving birth while I'm gone- I cannot wait to get home and read your birth stories. I know you all will do great! And remember, your body know this, and just what to do. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

I will try to update my blog while we're gone, so you may be able to keep up with the travels on there. Otherwise, I'll talk to you all in 3 weeks!
