So remember last week when I posted about whether or not I could take Mucinex D? Well, I never did, I just took regular Sudafed. It seemed to help for a couple of days so I decided to head to Alabama. While we were there, I got MUCH worse. I've been horrible sick the past couple of days and woke up this morning with a fever of 103. My doctor is concerned that it may have turned into walking pneumonia so I'm going in tomorrow for some labs and to be seen. He doesn't want to do a chest x-ray if he doesn't have to because of the baby, so hopefully we can figure out what is going on with just the labs and him listening to my lungs.
At this point I am just praying I don't get Lily sick. I don't want my sweet baby girl to feel like this!

Sounds like what I have/had.
For some reason NO cold meds really work with it. It kinda stinks!

Yep, it sounds like exactly what i had also. I had an upper respiratory infection and severe strep throat (my infection was so bad my mind was out of whack to where i had some short term memory loss, which my doctor said was caused by the infection) I was given prescription medication for the strep throat and then told to take mucinex D and ibuprofin for the respiratory infection and NOT ONE of those things helped whatsoever. I just had to let the infection run its course and it took about 11 days for me!! Hope you feel better though, because I know exactly how you feel! Its horrible!!

*puts on mask* then gives big {{{{{{{{{HUGGLES}}}}}}}}}
Drink lots of water!!!!! and if you can take some probiotics or eat extra yogurt--to prevent the yeast infection the z-pack seems to give women (adds injury to insult!)

I have been so stressed about the baby. I started feeling movement on the 21st but I haven't felt anything since a couple of days after I got sick. Thankfully we heard a nice, strong, loud heartbeat today.
Seriously, this is a good reason to get an at home Doppler!
