Yea! My appt is at 1130 am. I'm excited. I know some haven't had very exciting appts, but I think my dr will try to hear the heartbeat. And maybe a 1st ultrasound. We'll see.

Oh and today was my birthday too!!! This is going to be the best year of my life! First finding out a month ago we're expecting our first baby on DH's b-day, and then today spending my birthday with our family and celebrating my bday and our future baby And DH gave me a sweet card and he wrote to my wife and mother of my first baby (And he gave me a sapphire and diamond ring and said its for my birthday and for being preggo- and its my birthstone and the baby's birthstone) I'm so much more in love with him today than yesterday, and I didn't think it was possible

Anyways, wish me luck and some heartbeat dust

Ok back from my appt. It went great. My dr answered all my questions. DH came in too. His first time back there

She did an ultrasound, we saw the heart beating and bean looks great. Dr actually said he/she is measuring about 2 days ahead of what I thought... so I'm due April 14th. Which is funny, cuz when I was figuring out my DD I used date of BD and not ovulation date but the date of BD is what gave the same DD as bean's measurements. I'll post the u/s pics later when I figure out how to scan, or maybe I'll take a pic of it and post that. But later for that.

Ok here is the ring DH gave me. (It was hard to get a clear pic) It is so pretty and sparkly- a sapphire in the middle and 3 diamonds on each side. DH said my birthstone and bean's birthstone He can be such a sweetie

Awe that's beautiful!! I love being an April baby just cause I love my birth stone haha.

Yay for a great appointment and a beating heart!!!!!! That's wonderful news!

Isn't it amazing what babies look like at 8 weeks? It's like you have Finding Nemo in your belly haha. But seriously how exciting!

My birthstone is sapphire for september. I love sapphires!!! And for March I believe its aquamarine-or blue topaz- its the light blue stone- my brothers birthmonth

And the heartbeat was 165.

I know exactly my BD and O dates, yet my 12 wk u/s put me forward 2 days. The u/s tech bases it on the baby's size and nothing to do with LMP, BD or O dates.

You little bean is beautiful... as is your ring!!!


March birthstone is aquamarine.. topaz is November!! It's mine!!
