I'm getting one in two days!!!!! Yeah we will be able to learn together how to use it.
HOLY CRAP thats the XSi I don't know if we will get THAT nice or just do the XTi version.

Ya we will have to learn together! I have no Idea how to use It! Ill guess Ill just use manual for now. I took photo in college, but that was over 10 years ago! And that was with my Ex's crappy Camera...The len's is just the basic that It comes with I suppose. Ill be asking for cool len's for xmas thats for sure! Is the XSI Higher then the XTI? I think the XTI was the one I wanted first.
Poor DH said he went threw the ringer trying to get it for me. He saw I book marked it for a cheap price online and ordered it there. It was some company In New Jersey. To make a long story short they almost took him for everything he had! Made him buy a bunch of stuff and 3 weeks went by and never got the Camera. He had to go threw his credit card company to get them to credit his bill and never heard from this company again. He soon found out that there being sued for million's cause they take people's money...Great!

Yep the XSi is better then the XTi (and like $400 more i think!). Bless his heart for going through all that. 
I took photography about 7 yrs ago---don't remember a thing and i had a film camera so my main thing was learning to develop it in a dark room. digital is a whole new game---glad we get to do it together....hopefully breanna may throw us a bone when is isn't busy.

AMY I got the same one as you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The asia name for it is Canona EOS 450D but its the same camera just a different name. Apparently canon has 3 names for this one camera?! strange. Anyways now we get to learn to use it together!!!!!! I'm going to head to the photography board and see if they can give me a dummy version to it.
Oh also my smooth talking husband got us a free filter/camera bag/4GB harddrive and some lens book thing. LOL. I was pretty impressed he is not normally good at bargaining.
PS I totally told him "well my friend online got the XSi version and IF i got it also we could help each other".....looks like it worked! So tell David thanks for me to
