I needs some help.. My AF has been vary regular since it came back in May of this year.. Well, I'm a couple days late and I took a test today and it was negative. Can you come up negative and still be pregnant if your two days late? I'm praying I'm not pregnant, but I really need to know if I am or not because at work I mixing chemotherapy medications.. Should I wait another 5 days and test again or should I try to get a blood test done? Has anyone been pregnant and had a negative test? I'm not scheduled to mix chemo drugs until Thursday and I'm praying AF shows up then.. Any input will be greatly appreciated..

I got a negative test on 11 DPO and then got a positive on 13 DPO. So yes it is possible!

I would say if you think you are, go get a blood test.

It is very possible!

Since AF which is usually consistent is a no-show, I agree with Anna that you should get a blood test if the tests aren't showing positives.

With Emma, I was due to start my period (with regular 28 day cycles) on Thursday and tested on Thursday and Saturday, both were negative. I tested again the following Monday and got my BFP and it was very quick and dark!

I got a negative but only because I tested before AF was missing at 11 DPO. Maybe you just ovulated late this cycle and AF is around the corner. I would wait it out a couple days and retest if AF doesn't show.

Thank you ladies for your advice..

AF has not shown up yet and I retested this morning and it was negative. I plan on calling my OB office tomorrow and get a blood test done. I remember last Thursday (the day AF was suppose to arrive) I had just slight bleeding, I mean vary vary small, I'm talking one swipe and it was gone (TMI! ). I wonder if that was my AF for the month.. Which isn't the norm, I'm usually super plus heavy.. (TMI? ) The only thing I can think of is that I may have gotten pregnant on Aug 29th.. Could that be a reason why I'm getting negatives? Do you think a blood test will give me a yes or no? I don't mind if the test is positive or negative, I just need a answer.. I just hope menopause isn't starting.. lol

You need the blood test!!

The spotting you had could have been implantation bleeding. The only way to know since you've not been getting BFPs and AF is still missing is to get a blood test!
