I feel kind of stupid asking this question but when someone gets an evap line and wants to make sure it's an evap and not a positive so they invert it, if the line shows up after the picture is inverted does that mean it's positive or confirm that it's an evap?

Generally, evaps don't show on the inverts... it's not 100% accurate, but I think we just feel "more positive" if it shows also in the invert.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, lol.

I have taken my fair share of tests, and have had the opportunity to compare BFPs with evaps. Evaps just don't look right. They have no color, or to be more precise, it really does look like the antibody strip is visible. They can still show up on inverts though (if you test is yellowed from the pee, and the antibody strip is white, that will show up on an invert), and some BFPs don't show up on inverts. You could post a pic

I'm pretty sure it's just an evap, I think I'm just imagining the line after inverting because dh doesn't see it. I'm still hoping I'll get a bfp this cycle though I won't be surprised if I don't. I'm only 9dpo right now so there's still time but I'm just so incredibly impatient! lol! I took some pictures but the line isn't showing up on them (my camera sucks).

You just cannot post something like this and not show us the pics  ....puhleasssssssssseeeeee!!!! I don't think I've ever had an evap so I won't be much help but I'd still sure like to see!!

I say you need to use an FRER or something similar to that... you would be able to see any BFP much easier!

They were the cheapest ones I could find, I didn't want to use good ones to support my poas addiction

Don't trust those blue line tests, go get a FRER or a digital! That's what I do when I get a questionable line.

I was going to wait until this morning or tomorrow morning to test again but I got impatient. I used a clear blue last night and got a bfn. Dh went into town to get me a frer but came back 20 minutes later because he took the piece of junk bronco he just bought and the lights shut off half way there. I wonder if he will bring me one today? If he does I'll take it in the morning, if not I'll just have to try and be more patient. GAH! Waiting and wondering is killing me! I don't remember it being this unbearable when I was ttc Dominick.
