I am counting on you girls to help me feel better here

I called my doctor, and he doesn't do femara + injectable cycles. Plus, he thinks that for me it is best to start my injectibles earlier then CD 5 (today). I really tried to convince him, I was a real pita about it I know all REs are different, and I *suppose* he knows best and not googledoc, but I am kinda bummed.

So I am just on femara this cycle. I need some reassurance that waiting until next cycle for injectables is better so I can turn my frown upsidedown. Wah!

Michelle - uggghhh I feel for you girl. Don't you just wish you could wave a magic wand and make it all better...I really hope for you this cycle is it and you don't even have to do those stupid injectibles.

You know what I hate - all the many choices of fertility drugs and treatments. For instance, I'm in the docs office this morning and we have progesterone suppositories - totally not sexy she said....that doesn't have a total proven record to help with LP defect...then we have clomid - might help me O better but decreases uterine lining which may actually be my problem and not progesterone etc. etc. - ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.....what the frak!

Good luck to you girl - I"m right there with ya. I get my first lovely ovary/uterus scan on Thursday - I can't wait!

Seriously, there are a lot of options and different combinations. Good luck with your scan, and don't get too friendly with the COOTER WAND!

Hey I know why waiting till next cycle will be better. It gives me time to practice my wrist flick for giving injections! Or, it gives me more months to save money for the inevitable quadruplets! I should start contacting Maury Povich and Oprah right now! I am half black, so Oprah has to let me be on her show, right?

Thanks Fi!

Well, injectables are usually started on CD 3 and continue until about CD 12. Also, even if you wanted to start injectables today, you would have to wait until the next day to have it delivered, right? Usually, you have to order the injectables, and can't just pick them up at the pharmacy. Let me know if you want to talk about where to order them from or approximately how much they will cost. It will all work out for the best, I'm sure. You can just relax this cycle, and not feel like you are rushing into injectables. Really, you still stand a great chance this cycle on Femara

Well, isn't always the cycles you are SURE are not going work that you end up getting pregnant? lol The femera could still do the trick, and if not, you can make a call to oprah when you get pregnant with quadruplets!
