I'm sorry Morgan - I know its frustrating...my first cycle off BCP was 90+ days and those since are still longer than the average 30 days..... how long have you been off the pill? It can take a while.....I'm here if you need someone to hang in there with!

It seems to change for everyone for sure. If it keeps going, I'd get some blood work even if this is normal. You seem to be going pretty long and outside of a time frame for AF that is healthy from what I understand. If its not the BC,You could have PCOS-- JUST a thought with such long cycles. 35 days is considered pretty long with no health problems

If you JUST got a positive opk, you should be Oing soon, which means it'll be a bit longer before AF shows. I would definitely get on top of charting, it almost looks like an annovulatory cycle with the temp fluctuations. How long have your cycles been the past couple of months? Keep us updated!

I had a positive OPK that I posted a couple weeks ago!!! So I have been in the 2ww, im now 15 dpo and still no AF and no +hpt. maybe I never actually O'd!!! Im thnk I am goingt o go to the Dr to make sure nothing is going on!! This cycle and my last one were very long, the 2 before that were 30 days and the 2 before that around 32 days, so they were normal for awhile!!

ohhh, I just realized that your chart hasn't been updated since the positive opk! I don't know then, if you were pregnant, I would think you would be getting a BFP by now! I'd try temping in the morning and update your chart, see if there's any pattern, or if the temps are different from the beginning temps.

Thats a good idea!!! One question though, I never get a sold 5 hours or so of sleep, between DH getting up for work, letting my dogs out to pee and letting them in an hour later, so what time should I temp?? I go to bed around 11 and am up at 2:00 with the dogs, 3:30 when DH goes to work, and 6:00 when I get up!!!

Man its hard to say. Since you didn't temp to make sure you O'd, I can't tell from info that you did O. I would say if you get a BFP great! If you get AF really really try to chart next cycle. And don't quit. Then you will be able to tell if you O or not. The OPKs just let you know that you have a surge of LH that would make you O, but not necessary that you WILL/DID. You need the temp for that part. Your doctor will probably tell you to chart a month or three to get a good idea of what is going on.
I really hope that you get your BFP this month!

Thanks Angela, I really hope I get a BFP this month as well, but I have tested like 6 times and they were all neg, so I am not to optimistic. I will chart for sure next cycle, although I will have to figure what time of night works best for me!!!! I just really hope there isn't something wrong up in there!!

You should test the same time everyday. FIRST thing in the morning. Its not accurate any other time of the day. So put a piece of paper and pencil and thermometer next to an alarm clock-pick a time and Temp! Just do it! LOL The first week I had DH remind me why I had the alarm on- LOL after about 2 weeks I got it down pretty good. It does kind of suck at first though.
I set my alarm for like 6am (woke up just to temp and went back to sleep So that I would have it the same time each day. Lord knows i don't wake up at 6 am! hehehehe
Good luck!!

I went off the pill and had "regular" cycles that were 28-30 days for 6 months afterwards. Then I had a crazy 40 day long cycle (that was the one that got us thinking of TTC) and the next one was 39 days, and so on. At the time I didn't know what was going on, cause my life was same as usual and no stress in particular. I just called it my body resetting itself after bcp. After 5 cycles (in 6 months) I was back to normal again. Sometimes our bodies just do weird things. Doesn't mean you can get pregnant during them!
