Hey ladies!! Sorry I haven't been on I have been too busy staring at my beautiful daughter hehe.

Things are going great, she still nurses like a champ and is such a happy baby, she's hardly ever fussy. She is up to 8lbs 2oz. now and growing like a weed! I've never been happier in my entire life than I have these past three weeks since she arrived.

Anyways....I am heading to Charlotte to visit my family shortly (date tbd, will be within a month) and I am so excited! I plan on hitting Opa's and Sonny's and Bojangles omg! LOL! Of course shopping at Black Lion is an absolute must! I am going to stay for two whole weeks! *nudges Sara*

Heeey, I'm in Charlotte, too! Well, for the next 1.5 weeks anyway.

Are you going back to see your parents or is this to see the boys??

Thanks ladies! I can't wait to go! I am going to visit my parents and siblings, my ex won't allow me to see the boys "Until I move back to Charlotte" because he thinks it will confuse them to see me unless I am permanently there.

Patrick thinks it's a bad idea because he thinks I will be upset by my family (he thinks I have unrealistic expectations that they will be all loving or something, I know how they are and I am prepared for their ambivalence). He just doesn't want to see me hurt.

Other Ivy news: She only woke up for one feeding last night! I tried to wake her up to feed her and she wasn't having it, she wanted sleep lol! Though she did have an oddly 'awake' day the day before, she was up all except a 3 hour nap and was happily awake the rest of the time. Oh and she has from the very beginning HATED being swaddled. It's so weird to me that she doesn't like it, she despises the Miracle Blanket(sigh). She has a double cow-lick in the back of her head, causing her to have a natural mohawk I have to work to tame. Just today she started smiling at me when I kiss her cheeks(she has been doing that for her dadddy for almost a week now, hmph!). She has my dimples and super-long tongue(lol) and when her hair gets wet it curls up into a 'fro. The other night she got fussy when I was taking a bath in my gigantic tub so I stripped her and brought her in, she enjoyed swimming She loves tummy time and scoots forward sometimes, which is crazy to me, she uses her feet to push herself forward!

Thats all I can think of for now, I *heart* you ladies!!!

Daddy is so funny!

How YOU Doin'?
