Congrats again Bre - I'm so glad you are happy with your experience even though it didn't go as planned! He is so gorgeous!
And how exciting that he was born on his due date!

Oh Bre, I think you did a fantastic job! You don't need to be sorry that things did not go as you had hoped. None of us really know what we will do when we're actually in that position. We all wish we could do it naturally but when it's taking forever and you're tired, frustrated and anxious to meet your baby, we make the decisions that are in the best interests of you and baby. So I think you're a champ!!!
Congrats again on your beautiful son!!! You must be so proud!!

I commented on the other thread but also wanted to add how insane & hilarious it is that you sold a page while in labor!

Now that's dedication!!!! No one else at work has anything on you!!! You are a rock star!!! Don't be sorry for not being on!!! These first days with your little man are so important for both of you to bond!!! It's something a new mom needs and a new baby needs. You'll have time to get on again. And remember, nap when he naps (that's the best advice I EVER got!)!

I read your BEAUTIFUL story this morning before heading out the door to work but didn't get a chance to respond then. I want to thank you for sharing your story with us. Enjoy these moments!
Oh and I shared about your selling a page to my DH and he too thought you were nuts :-) (but in a good way of course!)

I just read your birth story, and I love how you described everything in so much detail. It was so well written, it makes me feel like I was there during the whole experience. You did an awesome job! I'm glad you don't regret anything and actually enjoyed your birthing experience. Congrats again and Reid is such a cutie!! And that's too funny that you sold a page while in labor! Your boss surely has to know how dedicated you are to your job now! lol
