DH was able to feel our daughter moving last night for the first time!!!

I was so thrilled.

He was thrilled too but I think I was more excited because he's never been able to feel her before and I really wanted to get to this point where he could share that with me.

I just had to share!

Oh Steph, it's amazing!! I know my DH will be doing the same thing. He's going to want me to tell him when she's moving so he can feel her. LOL!!

Fi, your movements will pick up really soon!! But it may be the position too because some days her movements are really faint like she's facing backwards or something and then other days I can feel her really strong against my stomach.

But, it started pretty inconsistent for me and I've only been feeling her consistently since last week. And then when I was feeling her, I'd tell Andre to come put his hand on my tummy and I'd ask, "you feel that" and he'd be like "Um, not sure if I felt anything." But last night he definitely felt it and he could tell me when she was thumping so I knew it was real because it was consitent with what I was feeling.

Soon Fi! I believe my hurting tummy was from baby growing so I wonder if around this time there is a bit of a growth spurt? Only recently I've felt baby stronger and more consistent.

Like Mari also said it's all about babies position now too!

Hubby got me a big glass of orange juice and that really got baby moving

Mari, does it feel odd to be talking about "her" now and not "it"?

Not really, I'm kinda liking it but sometimes I still say "it". I do hope she remains a girl though...lol...that would be weird to now have to say "him" instead of "her".
