I suggested the idea to DH of using his first name as a middle name. I really like the idea and I think if we can find a good first name he will to.
DH's name is James.
I kinda like the idea of Aaron James and then using AJ. But he doesn't like Aaron but likes the idea.
What other first names can go with that middle name making a cute little nick name?
It's just an idea we are throwing around. We are still thinking about Capri Rose for a girl... no other suggestions so far.

I adore the name James. I think any name beginning with a vowel would sound nice as it's soft. What about Ethan?

OMG! Capri for a girl? I LOVE that! Have you ever heard the song "Capri" by Colbie Caillat? I know its been talkied about before on this board, but i dont remember if you had heard it, its one of my FAVORITE songs its beautiful!
Anyway! I Like Ethan James, too! Do you like that? Or Aiden James? (My sister is naming her son Aden-without the i, and I love that name!)

James is a really good name. It's one of my ds middle names. I have no suggestions for first names but pretty much everything goes with James so it'll sound good whatever it is.

There are so many good names that go with James, and that would make a great initial nickname!
Just a few off the top of my head:
Andrew James
Alexander James
Benjamin James
Brandon James
Christopher James
David James
Derek James
Dominick James
Patrick James
Phillip James
Thomas James
Timothy James
Tyler James

Just as a warning, I wouldn't go with a B first name. I went to school with a guy who went by BJ and he got teased a lot.
I agree that James is a perfect middle name, it goes with everything. I tried to take into account what would sound good with Curtis. Here are a few suggestions:
"AJ"
Asher James
Austin James
Alexander James
"CJ"
Caleb James
Cameron James
Collin James
Cody James
Clayton James
Colton James
"DJ"
Devon James
Damien James
"EJ"
Eliot James
Easton James
"JJ"
Justin James
Joshua James
Jordan James
"TJ"
Tristan James
Torin James
Theo James
And just plain old good names LOL
Noah James
Matthew James
Lucas James
Quentin James
Skyler James
Wyatt James

My step-sisters maiden name initials were KJ and my step dad called her that. I think it sounds great! so you could even go with a K name too!
Kaden James (although I think I like the spelling of Caden better... Kaiden is another alternative)
Kennen James
Keegan James
Kenton James
Kingston James

I really like Jenn's suggestion of Christopher James - it just sounds so masculine and classic.

Are you more into traditional names or are you into popular/contemporary or unusual?
I like Aaden James or Caleb James or Kaiden James.

I love all the names in Kyle's list! I agree, James is a wonderful middle name. It is my dad's MN, and we almost used it as a first or middle as well in some of our ideas.
