Tonight I went to the bathroom and there is just a little brown spotting. Also I feel little cramps but nothing too bad.

I am so worried and there is nothing I can do, the hurricane is coming. I know everyone says brown spotting is okay but last time I had brown spotting and I went in and the baby had died.

Please pray my baby is okay and that I can somehow get in for an ultrasound very soon.

Oh Shannon! I'm sorry, I'm sure this is very scary for you and I know you're already under a lot of stress with the hurricane and all. Do remember though that brown spotting is old blood, and even though it wasn't the case with Thomas, it IS very common in early pregnancy and could just as easily mean nothing at all. *big hugs*

Huge hugs for you Shannon! I really hope you can get in for an u/s soon!!! And a little brown spotting is completely normal (I know you know that) and I'm sure your little one is just fine! I spotted brown/pink/red til 8 weeks or so with Loch and he was just fine. It could be old blood from weeks ago just now coming out. Saying a prayer that you get in soon to see that little beating heart!!!

Shan sweetie, I wanna squeeze huggle you so tightly. I know you must be very scared, but as difficult as it is, remember this worrying and fearful stress isn't good for you or little beanie.

I know you say you had this last time, but other Shanny is right, brown = old.

It possibly wont make you feel better, but I spotted daily full over a week after AF was due, then spotted off and on for about another 2 weeks. I bet your beanie has snuggled right in so deep to cuggle mummy, that it caused a teeny bit bleeding a few days ago and that blood is just working it's way out now.

*huggles* I know its hard to hear this but try not to worry!!! Your under stress with the hurricane and when your stressed, the baby is stressed. Deep breaths, and keep telling yourself little bean is making his or herself very snuggly in there :-)

Oh Shannon, my heart goes out to you! The fear of going to the bathroom and wiping is hard enough! Of course we know the brown is normal, nut we've both had scary experiences that make us think otherwise. Trying to relax as much as you can, I know it's hard. I'm praying for you!

Ok as hard as it is, you need to try and stress too much becuase those stress chemicals aren't good for you or baby! Brown spotting is very normal. It could be left over IB, cervical irritation, lots of different things. Cramping is a good sign! It means your bean is getting snug in his...or her but I think his.....new home for the next 7m 3wks! And also your uterus is stretching

((((((HUGS))))))) It could easily be cervical irritation or old blood, as was mentioned. I had spotting a couple times when pregnant with DD, and I was told I have an irritable cervix. With my last pregnancy I had bright red bleeding at 5 weeks, but everything was fine, and again, it was from cervical irritation. Try to relax, put your feet up, and if you are really worried still, give your doc a call after the hurricane passes.
