Sorry, girls, I must vent. I am so sick of my job. I did not want to be the department head if I got pregnant, and my boss knew we were trying but told me to just do it this year. I agreed in May, so here I am. I am constantly drowning in mail, I have been given extra responsibilities that I cannot keep up w/ in a timely manner, and I won't even be around when state testing comes. I have to miss a field trip on Tuesday because they are walking back from a park nearby, and w/ me being told to take it easy this trimester, I figured I shouldn't go...so I get to stay back w/ the lovely kids who didn't make the outing because of their grades or behavior, which always sucks. I still have to talk to our secretary to get my sick leave balance, and I am going to take off as early as I have leave enough to cover (my guess is I'll probably have to work till the end of February and then I can take off the first 2 weeks in March). Hopefully all the rest of my doctors' appointments can be made after school hours and Abby doesn't get sick any more (haha) so that happens. I don't need to go back till July, and I am not going to be department head next school year so there!

Thanks, girls. It just sucks because there are so many new things going on this year. And for a while, we had 2 department heads for English, whereas now it's just me so I have to do everything...or I''m supposed to, but it's not all getting done. And I'm feeling crappy again today.
