Long story short...one of my 3rd cousins just got married last month & they decided not to have a big wedding b'c they originally called it off & broke up. So, at the last minute we get invited to her post-bridal shower & then a reception so that's this Sun. & next Sun. With feeling so cruddy & not wanting to drive (plus Abby's bday is Saturday and so is her party) I opted out.

Anyway, my mom's going to the shower today & she had asked if it was okay if she told people. I told her she could, as I'm almost 2nd tri., and maybe then people would understand why I can't come, other than not being able to get a sitter for either date.
