This is going to be TMI and if my DH knew I was posting this, he would KILL me but he started talking to me on Sunday bout having pain in his left testicle. He said it started on Saturday morning while he was at a college football game. He said it makes his stomach hurt and the only real relief he gets is when hes sitting/laying down. He's not been to a doctor in like 10 years (because he doesn't "need" to go) and I have tried hard to convince him he needs to go! Do you have any idea what could/would cause him constant pain over 3-4 days? I don't even know what it could be but it sounds to me like it may be serious. I would hate for it to get worse and cause even bigger problems for us! Any advice or BTDT help would be fantastic! TIA ladies

sounds like his testicle could be twisting. (if its becomes severe pain he needs to go to the ER- this can be life threatening if it totally twists and cuts off blood flow). I would say go to the doctor to have it checked out- it also could be a hernia that needs repair. But I also know how men are about going to the doctor-especially when that area is the issue (heck lance armstrong's testicle was purple and enlarged for months before he went in!)
DH has had this issue with the twisting, did have to go to the ER and have them manual untwist---he says avoid that at all cost! LOL
He says a light to normal twist pain can lasts 2-4 weeks! Best things you can do is---hot tub/baths, and those reverse squats at the gym, to AVOID tight fitting underwear/pants and boxers with open flaps and the cold---shrinkage is bad bad bad. (He can lay on his back and bend his knees to his chest then you should lean/lay on his feet while he pushes you up) If this make it hurt more---its probably a hernia, and really its either go the doctor now and have it fixed or watch it get worse-be in more pain and then go to the doctor to have it fixed (same end result). If the pushing you up helps its probably twisted. Also DH says that sex/masturbation can help (since males having an orgasm usually turns the testicles).
Does it look normal? Is it turning a different color-SEE a doctor if it is. Is it staying up and not hanging like the other one?-this could be it twisting.

Thank you so much Angela! I am gonna check to see if his matches anything you said and if it does, we'll be going to the doctor as soon as he can get in! I'll keep you updated! We havent DTD because I was afraid I could make it worse, but if it might help, I'd be willing to try it!

HAHAHA when DH said that I looked at him and said "you better not be trying to be cute because one of my mommy board girls needs to know" and he swore that it was real and not just a game to get some. LOL Then he turned around and said "do i get some for helping?!" ....MEN LOL.
