This is a minor rant but I'm really hurt over it.. I know it's petty
Last night I had this brainwave that I'd laminate the 12 week and 20 week scan pics, to "preserve" them and stop them curling up anymore than they already are...
BIG mistake
I put the 20wk one thru the laminator first.... RUINED The paper didn't react well with heat! I'm completely gutted f I wanted to keep them as keepsakes and do a baby keepsake box I went to bed in a complete huff last night cos I was so annoyed. DH said he'd ask his mum if she'd mind giving me her copy, I feel rotten doing that, but I wanted to keep them as memories

You should put them on your computer and a disc. I put Dominick's ultrasound pictures in his book, I printed some off and have those in an album, I have them on 2 computers and 4 different discs. As soon as we save enough $ I'm going to buy this little electronic thing for storing pictures and put in on there too.

Oh no! Surely you could scan your DH's mom's copy? That way you could make more prints and get it onto a computer. Do you guys have any place up there that does stuff like professional print? Surely you have something similar to our Kinkos or Kodak stores?
ETA: This might be a silly question, but I've never had an ultrasound, so forgive me if it is silly! Did the place you got your ultrasound done at keep it maybe as a part of medical records? Maybe they could get another copy?

First off **HUGS** What about borrowing DH's mums copy and scanning it and making a copy of it? Then you can either give her the copy back and keep the original or give her back her original and keep the copy for your keepsake. You should easily be able to laminate the copy.
Is good advice for us all to make sure to make copies/scan these special keepsakes!

Oh Fi luv, I'm sorry! I agree with the others that you can make a copy of your MILs. Does your doctor also keep copies? Maybe you can get a copy from the hospital/clinic as well.

I do have it on my pc as I'd made a siggy, but it prints out enormous and out of proportion. Hopefully I can work something out.

Do you have photoshop? You can always click on "image size" and scale it down. Then when you go to print, select scale to page and it should print out okay.
