I went to the hospital 2 nights ago because my pee was dark red almost purple. I had to stay the night and the ran some tests and monitored Landen all night. My blood work all came back normal and I have no fever. They checked my kidneys and they said they can tell somethings up but can't do any further testing while I'm pregnant because all tests requirer x-rays. My pee is looking a bit better its still dark but not purple. This shouldn't effect the baby in any way as long as I don't get an infection and I am drinking a butt load of water to prevent that! I go back to the doctor tomorrow to make sure nothing is getting worse, and then Friday I'm going to the OB and we are going to discuss induction. BUT on the up side I got to see where I will be giving birth and its very nice! All the staff is really nice and their is all of these really really old Nuns their helping out! It was pretty depressing seeing everyone around me having their baby's and I left with mine still in my belly. luckily I left before my room mate came back from the delivery room lol!!! I would have been soooo jealous!
Update
So I went to the doctor and she u/s my kidneys for like 20 mins. BTW u/s on the kidneys is painful they like grind the wand on your bottom rib. Nothing has gotten any worse she's not positive on whats wrong because an u/s is not as reliable at finding stones and blockages as x-rays are. But she said she thinks its a stone being pushed around making booboo's and thats what all the blood was from. And because my kidney is already pretty messed up the extra weight from Landen is not helping. She promised me that this will have no bad effect on the baby as long as the stone does not fall and cause a blockage or an infection I know how to prevent both things so I should be good. She does agree that they need to induce me because the longer the stone stays in me its just going to get bigger and fall. I'm very relived!!! A stone I can handle and I am very thankful that it took this long to happen and not earlier in my pregnancy! I normally get a bad stone issue at least once a year and I haven't had a bad one since March of 2007! So no need to worry, I mean this blows but me and the baby should be just fine once he come out to meet me! No horrible serious problems !!!! I go to the OB tomorrow so I will find out more then!

Oh dear, I'm soooo sorry you have to go through all this. I'm glad little Landen is doing alright though.
I'm slightly puzzled as to why they won't induce your labour seeing all that you've been through and now this. I mean I'm not a fan of interventions but Landen is a viable baby and it just seems to me like their taking a lot of chances. And it must be so scary for you.
Take care of yourself and keep drinking you water. (((HUGS)))

ITA! I was pretty shocked when they sent me home, even the nurses looked puzzled! I don't get why they would take the chance of me getting worse while still pregnant when I am at a point in my pregnancy that my baby will be perfectly healthy if he comes now, They even told me that at my last appointment. When I go see my doctor tomorrow I'm going to let him have it!

Well it's good to hear that it potentially isn't harming the baby. How scary!

Oh Angela- I have kidney stones too! And I know what you go through. I was hospitalized last October for 4 days for a kidny and blood infection (sepsis). The dr told me it was very painful and some say more than childbirth. So do what you have to to avoid the worst-drink tons of water (I'm sure u are) and cranberry juice is good for the kidneys. I hope u feel ok and can't wait to hear about your appt.

Angela, I'm glad things went pretty well today and that Landen is still doing well. I'm curious about your appointment tomorrow.
