And we saw the most beautiful little baby and heartbeat! Baby is measuring 7w5d so right on target. I think the exact measure was 1.5 cm CRL. The gestational sac looked good as well. The hearbeat was 162 bpm, also normal. She also switched on something and we could hear the heartbeat! It was absolutely amazing to hear that whooshing sound. Dh was amazed as well. He got to see the screen before I did and it was wonderful to look up and see his smile and know that baby was okay.
I have pictures but I will have to find a way to scan them. I may need to find some way to mark them though because the yolk sac on there makes it look like baby has two heads so I need to draw baby's outline on there! I guess it is normal to see the yolk sac on there so big? I didn't ask my RE about it but she said everything looked normal so I guess it is.
I am so excited...I'm really starting to believe this is my sticky one that I will be holding in May. You can't imagine how relieved I am to have seen a healthy little baby on that ultrasound. I will post more but I've got to get to work now!

YAY! I'm so glad you got to hear the heartbeat and know that everything is okay! I totally know how you feel, I was going through the same thing the first time I saw Aden's hb after I m/c before I got pregnant with her.
You will be holding your little one before you know it!

You are right. I really thought I'd still be nervous until I got past the point that I miscarried last time. But after seeing everything measuring perfectly (didn't last time) I can really believe that this one is going to be sticky and just fine. I'm even (for now) okay with it if I don't get another u/s until my 20 week visit.
I'm going to try and just kick back and enjoy it now!
