THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPOKANE HAS ISSUED A FREEZE WARNING... WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 9 AM PDT TUESDAY. THE FREEZE WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

CLEARING SKIES AND LIGHT WINDS IN THE WAKE OF A TODAYS PASSING WEATHER SYSTEM WILL LEAD TO WIDESPREAD FREEZING TEMPERATURES LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY TUESDAY. THE DURATION OF THIS BELOW FREEZING PERIOD COULD BE AS LONG AS FOUR HOURS IN SOME LOCATIONS... ENOUGH TO HAVE AN IMPACT ON SENSITIVE VEGETATION.[/b]

Its still September and we are already getting into freezing weather yikes.

It's supposed to be the end of summer for us today too, and therefore beginning of Autumn.... brrrrrr cold weather time!!

The leaves on our corkscrew willow trees started changing and falling off 2 weeks ago, we started getting frost warnings a couple days after that (yay, time for ice wine!) and today dh wants to turn on the heat. It's cold in our house. It's 14 degrees (57F) and windy 22km/hr with gusts of 32km/hr. I went outside this morning and marvelled at how much it feels like Halloween.

Also, I moved our living room furniture around to the 'winter positions' since the way we have it in the summer blocks all our heaters.

Cold and rainy here. Not to sure of temp and all that... I just know it's rainy!!

I love fall usually, but here it is a little depressing, lots of rain rain rain. I don't mind too much though Need to get Curtis a rain jacket and rain boots and have some fun! hehe.
