he really made me mad today, i mean he can be so stupid!!!!! he is getting on me, cause he doesn't want me to cloth diaper, and thinks i am blowing money! he says it is gross and he will never touch a baby with a cloth diaper never mind change one. i had told him long ago that i didn't expect him to change one, if that is what i have to give up to use cloth so fine, but to be such a drama queen as to say he will never hold our son if he has on a cloth diaper, or that i am going to make him sick by using cloth, cause he will get rashes and always be in the hospital, it just a little over the top!!!! i try to just ignore him but he has turned to nagging about it!!!!!!!!!!!! i finally went off on him and told him to shut his trap cause he has not a clue what the heck he is talking about. and maybe if he did a little reseach on it he would realize our child is not going to die like he seems to think. i told him does he honestly think i would do anything to harm our children or that all the other mothers are killing their children like he seems to think, not only that but he was cloth diapered when he was a baby so just shut up already!!!!! and then i told him to shut his trap about the money since i got a bonus at work and that was what i wanted to spend the money on, so he really hasn't spent a penny on them!!!!!!! i swear if he doesn't stop acting like a nagging old lady i am going to hit him over the head, and hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ask him if he thinks it is less gross to have poop festering in your garbage can.

I bet he'll come around. For some reason, some people are just resistant to CD. When he sees how easy and relatively clean a process it is, he will get used to the idea.

Way to go for telling him off!!! I'm not cloth diapering but it's totally NOT a waste of money. In fact, you'll actually be saving money. And what does he think people were doing before disposables were invented? I think he's talking without thinking and without doing research! But I feel like you've set him straight!!! Way to go!! Hopefully he gets over it.

Wow! I guess people really feel passionate about cloth diapering (or not)! I'm totally for it: me and my sister were both cloth diapered and my parents never once even brought it up at the dinner table! I had to twist my mom's arm just to tell me how she washed them, etc. Totally NOT a big deal!

haha yeah your DH is being a turd! Glad you aren't backing down... he's just being so ridiculous -- especially if he himself was cloth diapered!

I found out a couple weeks ago Troy and his brother and sister were cloth diapered....they turned out fine. I have NEVER ONCE heard of a child going to the ER OR hospital for a cloth diaper illness.....funny thing---i do know one child who did for a sposy (but they ATE it LOL--you can't eat cloth! lol---that should be on the pros list I think)

Good for you for telling him to shut it!!!!! Tell him to shut from me also!
*mouseslaps your DH*
